The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States and the Caribaea Initiative have signed an agreement aimed at strengthening research and conservation of biodiversity in the region. Effective from August 2026, this partnership focuses on education, community awareness, and strengthening scientific capacities. It also aims to integrate biodiversity protection into climate change adaptation policies while consolidating biodiversity data systems.
