Dr. Janet Caroo has been officially accredited as the ambassador of Saint Lucia to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). The ceremony took place at CARICOM's headquarters in Guyana. Caroo, who has been in office since September 1, 2026, is tasked with strengthening regional cooperation, trade, and cultural exchanges. She expressed her commitment to regional integration and outlined several priorities for her term.
