The investigation into the fatal collision that occurred on July 18 at Anse Cochon has begun with the swearing-in of four Commissioners. Under the presidency of Mario Michel, the Commission will examine the circumstances of the accident and the maritime laws of Saint Lucia. Its mission is to make recommendations to improve maritime safety and prevent future incidents. The work will continue until March 2027.
