The agriculture ministers of the OECS have been urged to move from discussions to concrete actions regarding food security. During their meeting in Jamaica, they agreed to accelerate the implementation of the regional strategy, focusing on reducing trade barriers and improving transportation. The challenges related to the movement of agricultural products between the islands were also highlighted, as well as the need to involve more young people and women in the sector.
