Since the beginning of the year, more than 200 cases of child abuse have been reported in Antigua and Barbuda, according to Minister Rawdon Turner. In an interview, he emphasized that these figures could underestimate the reality, as for every reported case, three others might go unnoticed. The minister described the situation as alarming, with abuse often perpetrated by relatives. Social workers, faced with these difficult cases, also experience significant emotional fatigue.
