The Supreme Court has removed a major obstacle to the rehabilitation of the Port Lucaya marina by rejecting the Grand Bahama Development Company's request to annul the lease. The judge ordered the marina company to fulfill its repair and improvement obligations for the facilities. This decision brings the new owners closer to starting the work, although other challenges remain to be overcome before renovations can begin.
