The Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association welcomed the appointment of Jackson Weech as the new Director General of Tourism. This decision, deemed very wise, follows the departure of Latia Duncombe after four years of service. Weech, with nearly 40 years of experience in the industry, has held various leadership positions, including at Atlantis. The association plans to appoint an interim president before the election of a new leader in December 2026.
