Naaman Lightbourne has been elected president of the New Providence Public Primary Schools Sports Association for a two-year term. Former vice-president, he succeeded Latoya Bain, who resigned to run for general elections. Lightbourne expressed his enthusiasm for leading the association and announced the start of the season with the Dawn Knowles soccer tournament. Several sporting events are also planned throughout the year.
