On September 18, the National Police of Guadeloupe carried out the destruction of 2,203 weapons, including knives and firearms. This operation, conducted over a week, aims to prevent the re-circulation of these weapons, which come from judicial seizures or voluntary handovers. The destruction was carried out by a specialized contractor, under the supervision of the Territorial Directorate of the National Police.
