The commissioning of the hybrid energy park in Abaco, costing 90 million dollars, is scheduled for November. This project combines 30 MW of natural gas generation, 15 MW of solar energy, and 20 MWh of battery storage. Although the connection to the grid is imminent, the generation and storage components will not be completed until May 2027. The Prime Minister has promised that this infrastructure will improve the reliability and resilience of the electricity supply.
