Two men were acquitted by a Supreme Court jury in a double murder case that occurred in Grand Bahama six years ago. Shamaz Brown and Trevor Reckley Jr were found not guilty of the murders of Kim Smith and Denny Rolle. The jury returned a 6-2 verdict after deliberations. Both men expressed their relief and condemned the police abuses they allegedly suffered during their arrest.
