Significant initiatives are underway to address water supply challenges in St. Lucy. The Prime Minister and officials from the Barbados Water Authority have gathered at the site of the future advanced treatment plant. This facility will treat water from the Allendale station before distribution. This project also includes the replacement of forty-three kilometers of pipelines to improve water quality.
