The CARICOM president and Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip J Pierre, emphasized the importance of a united voice between the Caribbean and Africa to promote sustainable development and climate resilience. On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of CARICOM-Africa Day, he mentioned significant advancements since the first summit in 2021, including a memorandum of cooperation and joint initiatives in health and air connectivity.
