The Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (CIMH) is intensifying the use of satellite technology to monitor environmental and disaster risks in the region. With support from the European Union, recent training has developed tools to detect sargassum, landslides, and land surface changes. This initiative aims to improve preparedness and decision-making in response to the impacts of climate change.
