Dr David Estwick was elected president of the Democratic Labour Party during the annual conference. A former MP, he won the vote against Stephen Lashley. Estwick expressed his desire to bring together talents within the party to move forward and unite the different factions. He also announced his intention to collaborate with Lashley and other members to strengthen the cohesion of the DLP.
