Guyana is preparing to host CARIFESTA XVI, the Caribbean festival of arts and culture, from October 8 to 17, 2024. This will be the third time the country has organized this event, following the editions of 1972 and 2008. The Minister of Culture emphasized the importance of this festival to celebrate the diversity and shared identity of the region, while providing a platform for artists and cultural practitioners.
