Maryse Condé's daughters, Leïla and Aïcha, launched Éditions Condé at the Maison de la Guadeloupe in Paris. This solidarity initiative aims to preserve their mother's literary legacy while supporting new writers. A reading committee will be established to ensure diversity of perspectives in the selection of works. The founders aspire to make this publishing house a place for meetings and exchanges around literature.
