The legendary calypsonian Mighty Sparrow will receive a national tribute in Trinidad and Tobago on October 16. The government is organizing a farewell ceremony in collaboration with the Francisco family to celebrate his musical legacy. Before that, the public will be able to pay their respects on October 13 and 14 at two different locations. The procession on October 16 will begin at Independence Square and end at NAPA, featuring cultural performances and recordings of his songs.
