Cyclist Buitrago finished in second place in the 14th stage, narrowly beaten by German rider Marco Brenner, who took the win by a hair. The podium was completed by Spanish rider Cristián Rodríguez. At the top of the general classification, Enric Mas retained the red jersey, increasing his lead over Primoz Roglic, now in third place. The 15th stage will take place between Palma del Río and Córdoba.
