The international Los Libertadores crossing, connecting Chile and Argentina, will be closed again due to forecasts of snow and unstable weather. The closure will be gradual, with barriers set up starting at 1:00 PM on the Chilean side and 2:00 PM on the Argentine side. Adverse conditions could persist until the end of August. This crossing, at an altitude of 3200 meters, had just reopened five days ago after a month of blockage.
