An energy savings program is being launched in Colombia for a duration of six months. It aims to reduce energy consumption in light of forecasts for rising temperatures and decreasing rainfall. Customers exceeding their consumption target will be penalized, while those who meet it will benefit from a discount on their bill. Users affected by the earthquake on August 10 are exempt from this measure.
