The Cuban Foreign Ministry expressed its commitment to strengthening friendship and cooperation relations with Malaysia on the occasion of its 69th independence anniversary. The celebration took place in Putrajaya, marked by a parade. Diplomatic relations between Cuba and Malaysia, established in 1975, are based on mutual respect. Cooperation has intensified since the opening of respective embassies in the 1990s.
