Cuban authorities are meeting to discuss strategies to ensure water supply in Havana. The focus is on the use of generators, maintenance of electrical infrastructure, and energy independence. Nearly 70 sites have been inspected to optimize water pumping. Initiatives to integrate renewable energies are also underway, in response to the impacts of the blockade on fuel supply.
