The gradual installation of solar panels by Etecsa in Holguín is beginning to bear fruit. This initiative allows more than five thousand customers to benefit from a more stable telephone service, even during power outages. Currently, seven photovoltaic systems power fixed telephony and connectivity infrastructures, while additional installations are planned to strengthen the radio bases.
