Dominican authorities are focusing on improving the electrical system, aiming for better generation and a reduction in distribution companies' losses. Although a modification of rates is being considered in a plan, this does not mean that a decision is imminent. The minister emphasizes that the sustainability of the electrical system requires progress in several areas, ranging from generation to management.
