The Italian government is working on extending a reduction of 17 euro cents per liter on diesel taxes, initially implemented in response to rising energy prices. This measure, which was set to end, has been extended until September 5. At the same time, a tax credit for transport companies has also been renewed, aimed at supporting economic activity.
