The President of Myanmar was welcomed in Hanoi following an invitation from the General Secretary of the Vietnamese Communist Party. His delegation was received at the airport by Vietnamese officials. This visit marks his first as head of state, a role he assumed last April. The main objective is to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, both bilaterally and multilaterally.
