In anticipation of the 48th anniversary of the disappearance of Imam Musa al-Sadr, the Prime Minister stated that southern Lebanon must not be the ground for struggles imposed by others. Salam highlighted the importance of ensuring the return of displaced persons and called for a strengthened state presence in the region. He also insisted on the need to end the Israeli occupation and restore sovereignty over national territory.
