Leonardo Padura, renowned Cuban writer, will receive the Líber Prize 2026 on September 30 at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya during the Feria Internacional del Libro de Barcelona. The jury praised his ability to explore deep themes such as truth and history through his narratives. Padura, internationally recognized, is also the author of several acclaimed works, including detective novels featuring the character Mario Conde.
