The Peruvian government has recently appointed several ambassadors to represent the country in various countries and international organizations. Carlos Tubino, a former parliamentarian, will be ambassador to Argentina. Carlos Pareja has been designated as the permanent representative to the UN. José Recoba will represent Peru in Switzerland, while Carlos Díaz Villanueva and Jennifer Contreras will take up positions at UNESCO and FAO, respectively.
