The Peruvian government has recently appointed several ambassadors to represent the country in various organizations and countries. Carlos Tubino, a former parliamentarian, will be ambassador to Argentina. Carlos Pareja, a former minister, becomes permanent representative to the UN. Other appointments include José Recoba for Switzerland, Carlos Díaz Villanueva at UNESCO, and Jennifer Contreras at the FAO. Aurelio Pastor will represent Peru at the OAS.
