Between October 1 and 7, Nicaragua recorded 1,348 road accidents, resulting in 41 injuries. Managua, with nearly 65% of the incidents, is the most affected city. Authorities have intensified checks, conducting thousands of breathalyzer tests and suspending numerous licenses. Road safety awareness campaigns have also been carried out across the country to reduce accidents.
