Between October 2024 and August 2026, more than 202,000 people were expelled from the Dominican Republic, according to the General Directorate of Migration. Dajabón, a key crossing point at the border with Haiti, saw 79,938 repatriations in 2026. Operations conducted in several provinces resulted in the arrest of thousands of foreigners, while measures against human trafficking continue with the support of law enforcement.
