Between January and July, the cost of the family basket increased by 1.8%, reaching 49,613 pesos. This amount now exceeds the monthly minimum wage in the private sector. The Ozama region has the highest cost, while the Southern zone has the lowest rate. The Eastern region experienced the largest increase, with a rise of 2.4%.
