A new air agreement between Uruguay and Argentina was signed during a meeting of the Mercosur foreign ministers. This framework aims to modernize air transport between the two countries by adopting a liberalized regime for passenger and freight air services. Airlines will benefit from greater flexibility in managing their operations, thus promoting trade and tourism exchanges. Another agreement with Bolivia is also planned.
