On September 1, 85 new educational judicial units were established in France. These structures aim to place education, health, and reintegration at the heart of the journey of young delinquents, prioritizing their reintegration rather than confinement. The government thus aims to provide individualized support by strengthening access to education and healthcare to prevent recidivism.
