Dominica was recently honored at the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum for its initiatives in geothermal energy. The country won two awards for its energy project and a leadership award for the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Vince Henderson. This success comes after the launch of the 10-megawatt geothermal power plant, marking a significant step towards energy independence and economic development.
