An exotic monkey was discovered aboard a lancha intercepted south of Punta Salinas, carrying packets of cocaine. In total, 749 packets were recovered during two operations conducted by the National Drug Control Directorate and the Navy. Four suspects were arrested. The vessels were sunk due to maritime conditions. The monkey will be placed in quarantine before being transferred to the zoo.
