The Public Ministry, in collaboration with CECOM, conducted simultaneous searches in seven businesses in Higüey, resulting in the seizure of over 86,000 smuggled items. Among them are tobacco products and alcoholic beverages. These actions aim to combat illegal trade and protect consumer health. The operations were carried out under judicial authority.
