The First Chamber of the Civil and Commercial Court of La Romana has ordered the mayor of Villa Hermosa and other officials to reimburse salary increases deemed illegal. These increases, granted in violation of the Constitution, were received during the first months of 2025. The reimbursements will be made through monthly deductions from salaries, and the amounts must be returned starting from the next payment.
