The General Directorate of Information and Defense of Social Security Affiliates has proposed to expand the coverage of mental health services in the Dominican Social Security System. This initiative aims to reduce costs for affiliates and facilitate access to consultations and treatments. Several measures have been suggested, including increasing psychological consultations and better coverage of medications, without requiring legislative changes.
