The inauguration of Line 2C of the Santo Domingo Metro, connecting kilometer 9 of the Duarte highway to the municipality of Los Alcarrizos, has led to a significant increase in the number of passengers. Currently, 13,000 users travel daily on this line, a notable rise from the initial 4,000 passengers. The development of the public transport network continues with other ongoing projects aimed at improving accessibility and meeting the growing demand.
