The director of the National Institute of Drinking Water and Sanitation announced the launch of an aqueduct project in Punta Cana as part of a water management and sanitation plan. This project, which also includes a sewage system, has already received approval from Congress. Currently, companies are in the prequalification phase for its implementation. Similar investments are planned in other coastal areas.
