The Ministry of Agriculture intercepted 66 tons of insecticides intended to illegally enter the Dominican Republic via the port of Haina. This operation, carried out by the Plant Health Directorate, aims to protect local agriculture by ensuring that products meet import standards. Inspections will continue at ports and airports to prevent the entry of non-compliant products, thus ensuring food and environmental safety.
