Judges from the National District and Santo Domingo Este have imposed coercive measures on gun shop owners arrested during Operation Armum. This operation led to the seizure of 200 firearms and 40,000 rounds of ammunition, some of which were undocumented. The suspects must also comply with periodic reporting and are prohibited from leaving the country. Investigations are ongoing into several gun shops for irregular sales.
