The prolonged drought is severely affecting water supply in Greater Santo Domingo, with rivers and springs declining. Caasd has implemented various measures, including the use of tanker trucks to supply affected areas, such as Los Alcarrizos and Pedro Brand. Currently, 16 trucks are operational, and 24 more will arrive soon to support distribution efforts.
