The amendments made by Congress have not put an end to the actions of unconstitutionality examined by the Constitutional Court. Four appeals persist, particularly on issues of discrimination related to sexual orientation and the responsibility of doctors. LGBTI+ organizations and the Dominican Medical College continue to oppose certain provisions, while other actions concern freedom of expression and the protection of honor.
