Eight people were injured in a road accident that occurred on the Hato Mayor–San Pedro de Macorís road, involving a public transport bus and a truck. The victims, whose ages range from three to 87 years, were transported to the local hospital. The bus driver, the most seriously injured, had to be transferred to another hospital due to the severity of his injuries. No fatalities have been reported.
