The Dominican government has unveiled a water security program for the Hatillo reservoir, with an investment of 750 million pesos. This project includes the construction of 70 kilometers of pipes to ensure water supply to Gran Santo Domingo and other provinces. In the face of a prolonged drought, it aims to meet the current and future needs of the population, affecting more than three million people.
