The land part of Îlet Blanc will remain closed until April 15, 2027, following a decision by the Scientific Council of the Guadeloupe Natural Park. This measure aims to protect biodiversity and strengthen the resilience of the islet, threatened by erosion. The closure will also allow scientists to study the evolution of vegetation and preserve essential habitats for birds.
